Plastic Coil Former
This thermo-former for PVC-spiral/coil manufacturing provides independence and flexibility for your production schedules. With fast changeovers of only 5-6 minutes, SWI-50 can pruduce spiral coil diameters from 6 to 50 mm (¼“ – 2“), in all standard pitches (5 mm, 6 mm or 5:1“, 4:1“ and 3:1“) as well as „specials“ on request! Digital displays facilitate your controls at all times. The coils with a maximum length of 1650 mm and a minimum of 51 mm (2“), are formed from PVC-filament that we deliver in a wide variety of colours and thickness up to 3.5 mm.
Productivity varies according to the coil- and filament-diameter, e.g.:
10 seconds per 1 meter in 6 mm (= ¼“) Ø
to 33 sec. per 1 m in 32 mm (= 1 ¼“) Ø.
